Police are recording the statements of Chinese educationist group Dong Zong's president Tan Tai Kim and secretary-general Ng Chai Heng.
The pair, accompanied by Dong Zong vice-chairperson Yang Yin Chong, central committee members Low Chee Chong and Yeoh Chai Kok, arrived at the Bukit Aman police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur at 9.30am.
Last week, federal CID director Huzir Mohamed said police would investigate Dong Zong after six reports were lodged against the group.
The reports concerned their comments regarding the introduction of Jawi khat (calligraphy) in the Bahasa Malaysia syllabus for Standard Four pupils in vernacular schools.
