IPOH: The driver of an ambulance and a female patient it was ferrying died after it skidded at Km368.4 of the North-South Expressway near Slim River early today.
Another three Slim River Hospital staff were injured.
The Perak Fire and Rescue Department said it received a call at 6.42am and deployed eight personnel to the scene.
A spokesman told Bernama the ambulance driver died at the scene, and the passenger at the Slim River Hospital.
“The ambulance was ferrying the patient from the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (in Ipoh) to Slim River Hospital,” he said. - FMT
