IPOH: Eight people were injured following an accident involving three vehicles in Simpang Pulai heading towards Cameron Highlands.
According to a spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department, two people suffered serious injuries during the 2pm incident.
The accident involved a Toyota Hilux, a Perodua Axia and a high-powered motorcycle.
There were five people inside the Hilux, four of whom were injured whilst one escaped unhurt.
The rider of the motorcycle and the pillion rider were the two people seriously injured in the accident.
The two women inside the Axia also sustained injuries.
According to the spokesperson, none of the victims was trapped inside the vehicles.
“We provided initial medical assistance, before allowing the medic team in the ambulance to administer further treatment, ” he said. - Star
