Many more priorities than flying car, says Rafidah

Outspoken Rafidah Aziz has poured cold water on the flying car project touted by her Bersatu colleague, Enterpreneur Development Minister Redzuan Yusof.
According to her, there are many issues more important than introducing frivolous policy.
"When you have a tendency to be frivolous, then we will have trouble. I hope the policy formulator will guide the authority toward focussing on what is right," she told an economic discourse at Perdana Leadership Foundation today.
"I mean, okay lah, you want to make flying car, go ahead, (but do it) as personal hobby. Who's (there) to stop you?

"But don't make it as a national project," she said.
"We don't even have bicycles to give out to the young students in Sabah and Sarawak who walk miles and miles everyday," she said.
While noting the flying car is nothing more than a drone, she said it is not easy to push for the implementation.
This is because many aspects needed to be taken into consideration, she said.
The 'flying car' is a drone-concept vehicle, dubbed Vector, developed by Aerodyne Group.
In March, Redzuan said the first flying car was expected to be unveiled this year.
