SHAH ALAM: Police are on the hunt for two suspects believed to be linked to a fight at a temple in Kuala Selangor on Aug 4, which led to a policeman and a civilian being injured.
Sureskumar Subramaniam, 39, and Wilbert Vellasamy, 41, are currently being sought by the police.
Federal CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said that the police believed that shots were fired during the fight on Aug 4.
"We believe that the two are part of Gang 08. We also believed that the two shots fired were from one of them, " he said at a press conference at the Selangor police headquarters here Thursday (Aug 15).
He added that following the fight, around 33 suspects had been arrested with some already released on bail.
The fight had started between two groups over an argument regarding tents that were to be built.- Star
