SABOTEURS AT WORK – OR IS DAP REALLY SO STUPID? JAWI – IS DAP AGAINST THE MALAYS?

FANNING hatred and campaigning against Jawi calligraphy is akin to inciting hatred against the Malays. It has been the alphabet among them since hundreds of years, similar to the Chinese character introduced during the Sultanate of Malacca in the 15th century.
It has nothing to do with Islam although the holy book al-Quran is originally in Jawi, the Arabic standard character. Chinese alphabets is also not linked to religion and the Malays have been respecting it all the while.
Now, when Dong Zong and Jiao Zong protest the plan to introduce Jawi ‘khat’ in the Bahasa Malaysia textbook, they are seen as taking over decision of what should and should not be done for the Malays and the Chinese students at schools.
I see this as an provocation against the Malay rights in education, and that Dong Zong and Jiao Zong are very much influenced by DAP’s Malaysian Malaysia and equality slogans. When some Malay students are taking up effort to master Chinese alphabets, they are going all out to halt Jawi penetration in schools, especially the Chinese schools.
What is their basic logic of doing so and for calling a demonstration on August 5 against the plan, is politically motivated. It carries skunks.
Since DAP is now flexing muscles on Putrajaya, they are using it to wipe out all Malay rights. When the Malays are tolerable enough in allowing the existent pf vernacular schools in the country, DAP is doing this to choke the Malays of their traditional rights.
I guess MCA is shutting its mouth on this issue as not to be labelled as anti-Malays. They are beginning to come to their senses but DAP is proud to avow its detest against the plan. Go to hell with the Malay sensitivity, it seems.
Its sad, very sad. When vernacular schools are already causing heavy toll to the national unification, petty matters like this are adding more salt to the wound. The nation will fall apart should the PH government bow out to them.
I am not criticising the Chinese and non-Malays. They are Malaysians too, and they are our buddies. But I am against the political gist in DAP, Dong Zong and Jiao Zong for wanting to break the country apart.
What if the next government decides to do away with vernacular schools in stages to promote national unity? It will be good to observe how Malaysians come under one education system and one national language. Have we achieved that? Certainly not. The Malays too should be blamed for being too giving to them, and now face the possibility of losing out in so many aspects.
To DAP, I wonder what actually is the motive of equality. Having 1:1 ratio of mosques to their house of worship, getting equal quota to higher learning institutions enjoyed by the Malays and other little assistance to them, I believe, are among it.
But would DAP stand up for the country? Instead of letting the Malays to defending the country and allowing them to make money in peace, will they fight for equality for the non-Malays to get a 1:1 ratio in the Armed Forces and Police?
And what would you do if vernacular schools are disbanded by the next government? Are you opting for civil war?
Think wisely!
