I hope its very CLEAR to everyone now. I fully agree with former IGP Rahim Noor on his reasoning.
PAS leaders and some religious leaders must learnt to put the interest of Malaysians first before trumpeting a controversial foreign preacher who preaches hate. Islam is a religion of peace and brotherhood.
Zakir Naik has already 'crossed the line' by claiming that Malaysian Hindus admire PM Narendra Modi instead of PM Tun Mahathir. For everyones knowledge, Malaysian Indians almost 99% come from South India and Modi's party does not represent in those States.
Secondly, Zakir Naik had claimed that the Malaysian Chinese are 'old guest' and if he were to be deported, the Malaysian Chinese should be deported first.
These remarks clearly illustrates that Zakir Naik had a ulterior motive to sow and PAS must take full responsibility for him to daringly to speak on these issues and until today had not apologized to the Chinese or Indians for allowing a foreign preacher to undermine Malaysian citizens.
Malaysian citizens have every right to live in this country without any hindrance whatsoever and no foreigner should have the right to question their citizenship.
Its time to immediately deport Zakir Naik and his family to his home country India to face whatever charges raised against him and to revoke his Permanent Residency granted to him and his family. Whether he will get a fair trial is not our concern any longer. Furthermore, it is his own interpretation that he will not get a fair trial.
This episode had actually united Malaysians and highlighted the importance of their Malaysian citizenship. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
