UMNO and PAS will hold a two-day mega rally on Sept 13 and 14 to coincide with the sealing of their political partnership, said Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa.
The rally will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur where the Umno headquarters is located, he added.
“The rally is open to all races and will be held in the spirit of unity and cooperation. Political parties, civil society groups and individuals are welcomed to join the rally,” he said in a Facebook posting.
Annuar added that participants are encouraged to wear white for the rally.
Umno and PAS have forged a close relationship after the last general election and have joined forces in several by-elections since then.
They have also joined hands to oppose several policies implemented by the Pakatan Harapan government.
