Perlis PAS commissioner Mohd Shukri Ramli
KANGAR: Perlis PAS commissioner Mohd Shukri Ramli has been transferred to Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah in Alor Setar on Tuesday (Oct 1).
He was initially hospitalised at the Tuanku Fauziah Hospital (HTF) on Sunday (Sept 29) after he collapsed mid-speech during the state level Muafakat Nasional mega ceramah held at Dewan Wawasan here.
Party state information chief Dr Saifizi Saidon said Mohd Shukri was sent to Alor Setar for further treatment.
"He is still being monitored by doctors and only close family members are allowed to visit," he said in a statement on the Perlis PAS Facebook page on Tuesday.
Saifizi also called on everyone to pray for the Sanglang assemblyman's recovery.
The ceramah was also attended by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, PAS spiritual leader Datuk Hashim Jasin, Perlis Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and more than 2,000 supporters from the two parties.- Star
