Suspend, not transfer, teacher accused of stapling student’s ear, says MP
Kasthuri Patto says individuals under investigation should not be allowed to be in the presence of children.
It is reported in the medias that a Standard 4 pupil from Sabah had claimed that his ear were allegedly stapled by his school teacher just because he had failed to do his homework.
If this allegation is true, it is a serious crime and this teacher should be SACKED immediately and the police should arrest her and charge her in Court.
The reason to transfer her to another school should never take place since teachers are fully aware that they should not inflict personal harm on their students for whatever reason.
Even to punish a mischievous school students, procedures are in place and should be adhered to.
A police report had been lodged on this matter.
I fully agree with MP Kasthuri Patto that action should be taken against this teacher and she should be suspended until the internal investigation is finalised and not transfer this teacher to another school pending internal investigation.
A wrongdoer should be punished according to the law. There should be no leniency offered to a wrongdoer by any party. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
