Damansara condo evacuated after explosives found

Early-morning bomb threat by phone leads to police raid on condo building.

PETALING JAYA: Residents have been evacuated from a condominium apartment building in the Damansara Perdana neighbourhood after police reportedly found explosives in one of the apartments.

The explosives were believed to have been found in a police raid after they received a telephoned bomb threat.

A bomb disposal squad is at the scene, media reports said. Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at about 8.30am.
