Perak PAS has denied that their office was vandalised by obscenity-laden graffiti.
Social media users have also found telltale signs that the photo of the so-called vandalism was a digital manipulation.
Perak PAS information chief Hafez Sabri said the doctored photo was "cheap provocation".
"Based on the latest photos taken today, the Perak PAS office is still in good condition and peaceful.
"Perak PAS regrets this irresponsible act by certain quarters," he said in a Facebook post.
A closer inspection of the doctored photo also showed that it had a Google watermark.
A reflection from a mirror in the photo also showed what appeared to be a Google Street View car. Google Street View records 360-degree images of locations that people can then explore online.
These telltale signs, among others, indicated that the graffiti shown in the photo was added digitally. - Mkini
