PETALING JAYA: Water supply to 13 areas in Kuala Lumpur will be disrupted following a burst pipe at Jalan Kuari Bukit A1.
In a statement this evening, Air Selangor said water supply to these areas was cut off at 7pm today for repairs to be carried out.
The 13 areas affected are: Kg Cheras Baru, Pandan Mewah, Taman Muda, Taman Bukit Permai, Taman Bukit Pandan, Taman Mawar, Taman Seraya, Taman Mega, Taman Bukit Teratai, Taman Melur, Taman Saga, Taman Putra and Taman Mestika.
The repairs are expected to be completed by 7am tomorrow.
Water supply will resume as soon as repairs are completed, it said.
“The time it takes for water supply to recover will differ from area to area, depending on the location and the distance to the consumers’ premises.”
Air Selangor is currently moving water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises.
“Consumers are advised to comply with physical distancing and wear face masks when getting water from the tankers.”
