Cops probe autistic child’s alleged abuse by Kelana Jaya school staff

PETALING JAYA: 

Police are investigating the alleged abuse of a seven-year-old autistic pupil by a staff member of a primary school in Kelana Jaya.

Petaling Jaya police chief Shahrulnizam Ja’afar said police found a TikTok posting at 3pm today showing a student management assistant roughing up the victim at the school.

An investigation paper has been opened under Section 31(1) of the Child Act 2001, which deals with child abuse.

Shahrulnizam urged those with information on the case to contact the nearest police station or the district police headquarters at 03-7966 2222. - FMT
