
The department said all four had received treatment at Alor Gajah Hospital.
It said two of the pupils had been transferred to Melaka Hospital for further treatment.
"Our main focus at this time is to provide the best assistance and ensure that the welfare of the pupils, teacher and their families is taken care of," it said in a statement today.
The department said psychosocial support was also being extended to the affected families.
It added that it would continue to monitor their condition from time to time, with the cooperation of the hospital.
The crash, involving a lorry, occurred at 3.24pm yesterday while the group was believed to be on their way back after taking part in a Melaka Schools Sports Council table tennis tournament earlier that day.
The 46-year-old lorry driver escaped unhurt. - NST
