Jalaluddin Alias says meeting focussed on party matters and political developments in the state.

Jalaluddin said the meeting, attended by 25 Barisan Nasional assemblymen, state Umno committee members and division chiefs, focussed on party matters and political developments in the state.
“Until this morning, there were still claims that we would decide today on a no-confidence motion against the menteri besar, but that is simply not true,” he told reporters after the meeting, which was also attended by Ismail.
Jalaluddin, who is also the Pertang assemblyman, said administrative matters remained under Ismail’s responsibility, while his role was to ensure political stability in the state remained strong.
Jalaluddin also said no BN assemblymen were involved in a meeting with Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar at Istana Serting in Jempol yesterday.
The media reported that two of the seven Perikatan Nasional assemblymen had met Tunku Nadzaruddin, but the purpose of the meeting was unclear. - FMT
