The Indira Gandhi Action Team (Ingat) will make “explosive revelations” at a press conference in Petaling Jaya tomorrow.
Speaking to Malaysiakini, Ingat chairperson Arun Dorasamy said one of the revelations concerned Indira's missing daughter Prasana Diksa.
“Based on the information obtained, we know Prasana has never been to school in the past 11 years. Not a single day.
“We don't even know if she is still alive,” he added.
However, Arun declined to elaborate, saying that Ingat and Indira would disclose more information regarding the matter at the press conference.
Pasana was a toddler when her father Muhammad Riduan Abdullah, a Muslim convert, took her away. He had also unilaterally converted the child and her two older siblings to Islam in 2009.
A lengthy legal battle with his ex-wife ensued involving both the syariah and civil courts. The High Court issued an arrest warrant for Riduan in 2014.
However, the police have yet to locate him.
Last November, Indira penned an open letter pleading for updates on her daughter from inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun and the Pakatan Harapan government.
"Where are they? Is Prasana alive? Is she well? As her mother, I do not know these things which I rightfully should. Why? Because the authorities have yet to tell me anything about her.
"My new Malaysia is the day my daughter is returned to me. So to the IGP and the Harapan government, how long more?" read her letter.
In a media invite sent this evening, Ingat said the NGO comprised the Malaysian Hindu Sangam, Hindu Conversion Action Team and the Pertubuhan Hindu Agamam Ani Malaysia. - Mkini
