IPOH: Human Resources Minister M. Kulasegaran believes the financial issues surrounding national news agency Bernama can be resolved.
He gave his assurance that since Bernama was a government agency, the issue would be settled by the government.
"There could be some red tape somewhere.
"It's best they refer the matter to the Finance Ministry or to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission," he told reporters after handing out mini Malaysian flags to people at the Kampung Tawas wet market here on Saturday (Aug 10).

"There have been no complaints made to us so far. If there are, we will also act on it," he added.
It was reported by a news portal that the agency was facing cash flow problems and might even have issues paying this month's wages.
The agency reportedly used the contributions for the Employees Provident Fund to pay for last month's salaries.- Star
