KUALA LUMPUR: A crane fell near a construction site at Persiaran Stonor here, injuring one.
A report on the incident was made at the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department at around 10.55am on Friday (Aug 16).
After rushing to the scene, firefighters saw the man trapped beneath the fallen crane.
A department spokesman said that the 34-year-old victim was pinned down due to his leg being stuck in a metal pile.
Firefighters successfully cut through the pile and rescued the victim at around 12.01pm.
He was then sent to the hospital for treatment.- Star
