MH17 The Quest For Justice

The Mainstream Media is either reluctant or 'shy' about publicising this event.

This is an international conference about the shooting down of Flight MH17 that will be held here in IIUM, Gombak this Saturday, August 19, 2019. It is organised by Dr Chandra Muzaffar's JUST and PGPF.

It is open to everyone.

Here is some information about the conference.

REQUEST FOR PRE-EVENT PUBLICITY IN THE MEDIA

On the 17th of August 2019, an international conference will be held at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) on the theme, MH 17: THE QUEST FOR JUSTICE.

The conference is organized jointly by the International Movement for a Just World (JUST), the Perdana Global Peace Foundation (PGPF) and the Centre for Research on Globalization (CRG) with the collaboration of IIUM.

IIUM Rector Professor Tan Sri Dzulkifli bin Abdul Razak will officiate. Registration for the Conference will begin at 7.30 am and proceedings will come to an end at 6.00 pm.

‘MH 17: The Quest for Justice’ is being held to examine critically the findings of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that looked at the MH 17 episode. The strengths and weaknesses of the investigation conducted so far will be evaluated objectively.  Proposals will also be made that will hopefully bring us closer to the truth. The aim is to ensure that justice is done to the victims of the tragedy.

The Conference itself is dedicated to the memory of the victims. Some family members will be present. A couple of them will speak in one of the panels.

Panel speakers will also include some outstanding individuals who have spent years researching into, and writing about, the MH 17 episode. Among them are Dr Kees Van der Pilj from the Netherlands, Peter Haisenko from Germany, and Professor Michel Chossudovsky and John Philpot from Canada.

A documentary which raises pertinent questions about the JIT’s report will be one of the highlights of the Conference. It is entitled, “MH 17--- Call for Justice.”  Its director Yana Yerlashova will be present to share her valuable thoughts with the audience.

A session will also be devoted to the Malaysian group that undertook the perilous mission to recover the black boxes belonging to MH 17 from the crash site in Eastern Ukraine.  The leader of the group, Colonel Mohd Sakri Hussin  has agreed to speak.

Distinguished retired Malaysian diplomats and public servants and current academics will serve as moderators for the six sessions of the Conference. Among the moderators are the former Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tan Sri Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak and the former Malaysian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Datuk Dr Fauziah Mohd Taib.

Those attending the Conference which is free of charge are encouraged to participate actively in the discussions.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided to all participants.

Queries on the Conference should be addressed to its

Coordinator, Hassanal Noor Rashid (Tel: +6012-362 1155 ; email: hassanal@just-international .org ) or Nuh Izuddin Ibrahim  +6018-388 3242 ; email: nuhizu@gmail.com

  1. Nothing about this important event has been reported by the Australian corporate media so far as I know...when such a gathering should be headline news! No doubt the despicable behaviour of the Australian government in the sham MH-17 investigation, which has been cheered on by the equally despicable media, would not allow for official Australian representation, due to sheer embarrassment...!!
