Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has indicated PKR president Anwar Ibrahim will not be part of his cabinet team when he makes minor changes to cabinet portfolios soon.
"We are not having any change or any increase in the number of cabinet (members).
"Since nobody has indicated they want to resign, we have no vacancy (to accommodate Anwar)," he told a press conference after chairing Bersatu Supreme Council meeting this evening.
He was asked why not invite his designated successor Anwar to join cabinet since he is about to make some changes, and pressure is building for a deadline for the transition of power.
