RON97 down 2 sen, RON95 and diesel unchanged

This is the second consecutive week that the price of RON97 petrol has gone down.

PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 petrol will go down by 2 sen at midnight, after it dropped by 11 sen last week.

RON97 will sell at RM2.54 per litre instead of RM2.56 until Aug 9.

Meanwhile, the prices of RON95 and diesel remain unchanged, the finance ministry said.

The price of RON95 remains at RM2.08 per litre, and diesel at RM2.18 per litre.

The government has been subsidising fuel prices to alleviate the cost of living of the people and to stabilise prices, the ministry said.

It will spend RM85.78 million in subsidies to rein in the price of fuel for this coming seven-day period. - FMT
