Police summon Zainal Kling to Bukit Aman this Friday

Malay Dignity Congress chief executive secretary Zainal Kling is expected to be questioned at the police headquarters in Bukit Aman this Friday.
His statement will be recorded following a police report lodged by Yoganathan Loganathan, a member of the Penang Society for Tamil Advancement early this month.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) principal assistant director (D5) of prosecution/law, Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said Zainal will be present at Bukit Aman around 10am.
"After police record his statement, we will see who else will be summoned (to Bukit Aman), he told Malaysiakini.

Zainal kicked off the congress held in Kuala Lumpur yesterday with several "hardline" remarks which touched on issues related to the Federal Constitution, royalties and special position of Malays.
He also spoke at length about how non-Malays have taken advantage of the citizenship status given to them, adding that Malaysia belonged to the Malays.
The congress was attended by about 5,000 people, including Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and several Umno, PAS and Pakatan Harapan leaders.
It was organised by Universiti Malaya’s Malay excellence studies centre, in collaboration with UiTM, Universiti Putra Malaysia and Sultan Idris Education University.
Many critics have described the event as political interference in academia.
Previously, Bukit Aman CID Huzir Mohamed said that police have opened up an investigation paper after the report was lodged, under Section 505b of Penal Code for causing public mischief and the Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. - Mkini
