PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 petrol will drop by nine sen to RM2.59 from midnight until Nov 1.
The price of RON95 remains unchanged at RM2.08 per litre and diesel at RM2.18 per litre.
The government has capped the price of RON95 and diesel to stabilise fuel prices and to reduce the people’s cost of living.
The finance ministry said Putrajaya will spend RM87.28 million in subsidies to rein in the price of fuel for the coming seven-day period. - FMT
