You Want To Lose The Elections Faster - Bring Back The GST

Hi folks. On a road trip again. Within nasi ayam distance of Thailand. Sleeping in the rainforest tonite. Elephants not coming out though - so the guy laughed - despite all the photos.  (Err . . there is hot water available. Plus infinity pool. 5 star la. Wifi is carry-on.) Be back in the morrow.

The U-Tun is becoming a little too over the top. Already the e-posters are flying.

Dear Dr Mahathir why do you wish to make the Pakatan Harapan's suicide more painful?

First of all it is 'Rakyat Tolak Dan Tidak Mahu GST'.  Whether it is 3% or 2% or 1% the GST will create the same chaos, confusion, hardship and price increase which will just kill the economy again.

We are doing fine without the GST.  Do not make your suicide more painful.
  • Narendra Modi is committing India to suicide - literally.
  • Modi's economic mumbo-jumbo is making Indian business tycoons commit suicide - real suicides.
  • Modi's insane GST taxes and his demonetisation scheme are killing the Indian economy.
  • Hindu religious extremism is on the rise.
  • Will say something about that later.

The Najib government needed the GST because they were stealing over RM100 billion ?? from the national coffers (from the government, 1MDB, Petronas, Tabung Haji, Felda, LTAT, KWAP, etc etc). So they needed the GST to suck the people dry to cover up for their stealing. That was the BN.

But why does the PH government need so much extra money now - that U-Tun is talking about bringing back the GST?

One reason is because the tax revenue is actually shrinking.
This is what I have been hearing.
Why would the tax revenue be shrinking?

Oh well . . . lets see :
  1. Oil prices are still comparatively low.
  2. Palm oil prices are low.
  3. Oil palm plantation companies are crying - revenues and earnings are down.
  4. Wait till the EU bans palm oil next year - lagi sesak.
  5. Wait till Modi buys palm oil from elsewhere next year. Can ask Zakir Naik to baca doa.
  6. Tabung Haji gone kaput, Felda kaput, GLCs kaput or kaputing, LTAT kaputing.
  7. Of course now we have 'Buy non Muslims last' - so there will be some kaputing there too.
  8. So yes the tax revenues should be shrinking.
Is this anything to be surprised about?

And what is the suggested solution? Bleed the people dry.

Why is the Pakatan government also spending money on weird and wasteful projects? Like that RM450m Federal government complex in Kelantan? What for? Just wasting money.

Rewarding the pas-pis-pus? For what?

That's almost half a billion Ringgit of taxpayers' money. There is hardly any revenue from Kelantan to justify such a huge Federal government building complex. The Petronas oil royalty can be managed using the existing Federal buildings. You send money by tt transfer. Electronic funds transfer. A kerani gred 24 can do that for you. Why do you need a brand new RM450 million new building complex?

Here is something else I heard. The Chinese did not give away anything on the ECRL.  The ECRL is a thieving project. There was no economic basis for this ECRL project. In over 134 years of existence the Malayan Railways have never hauled even 25 million tons of cargo a year. The ECRL is 'projected' to haul over 50 million tons?? To Kelantan? Serambi GRO?

The story is the Chinese  had already made an advance (of over RM10 bil) on the first ECRL payment. Recall the Chinese were also financing the project. That first payment went to finance the Kleptocrats in the last elections (or parts of it - cos the rest went to buy handbags and stuff.)

To make a long story short, the Chinese had advanced money upfront already. Sudah out of pocket already. Now they must get this money back. How? Elections sudah kalah. Bugis looking at 20 years jail time.

The talk is the Chinese asked to be 'compensated' in land. Dia mahu tanah. Lots of land. And the land is in Pahang. And Pahang is on Planet UMNO. Have to table talk. So how now brown buffalos?

So that is also why U-Tun is talking about the GST again.

Dear readers, Members of Parliament, Ministers, lend me your ears.

If you want to insist on GST, then there must be some quid pro quos. You must give something in return.

I am not saying this just for fun.
This is to save the Malaysian economy from dying permanently.

If you want GST (1%, 2%, 3%) then give the people something in return:

1. Reduce import duties, taxes, excises, duties etc on ALL motorised vehicles, including EVs, hybrids, internal combustion engined vehicles etc. So that prices of all motorised vehicles and EVs matches world market prices. That is all we should ask for - follow world market prices. No more, no less.

2.  Reduce the tolls. By the way Abu Zahid of Maju wants to buy over Plus. Latest talk is (in The Edge) a Hong Kong company wants to buy Plus !! What the . . . ??

A Hong Kong company?

Talk is it is not a 100% Hong Kong company. The real buyers are local Chinese taikors and tycoons who set up a conglomerate in Hong Kong. Malaysian money going one pusing round - coming back via Hong Kong - to buy Plus.  But talk is the Hong Kong company has some very powerful people backing it. Hi TP. We know what you did last summer.

I really dont care. In fact I like this idea. Very good. But pleeeease just lower the tolls.

3. No more deficit budget.

You say you need the GST to widen the tax base, collect more taxes. Ok fine. Very good.  So give the people something in return. Give us a quid pro quo.

NO MORE DEFICIT BUDGETS.
PASS A LAW IN PARLIAMENT TO THAT EFFECT.
SYED SADDIQ LISTEN UP.
THIS IS A WORTHY LAW THAT YOU SHOULD PASS IN PARLIAMENT.

IF YOU WANT TO IMPLEMENT GST THEN PASS A LAW THAT SAYS NO MORE DEFICIT BUDGETS.

This means when the Minister of Finance tables next year's Budget, the Government CANNOT spend more than what the government earns in revenue.

If government revenue for the year 20xx is RM200 billion, then government Budget spending for the same year cannot exceed RM200 billion.

Meaning the government cannot borrow to fund its next year's annual Budget.
Tak boleh.
NO MORE DEFICIT BUDGETS.
TAK BOLEH PINJAM DUIT.

WHY?
BODOH BANGANG - YOU ARE ASKING WHY?
BECAUSE YOU ARE COLLECTING GST MAH.
SUDAH WIDEN TAX BASE. THAT IS WHY.
SUDAH BOLEH INCREASE TAX REVENUE.

4. No more income taxes (Just kidding - REDUCE TAXES)

If you are already collecting GST, then REDUCE income taxes drastically. Also reduce corporate taxes.

No more RPGT (Real Property Gains Tax).  ZERO RPGT.

WHY?
BODOH BANGANG - YOU ARE ASKING WHY?

BECAUSE YOU ARE COLLECTING GST MAH.
SUDAH WIDEN TAX BASE. THAT IS WHY.
SUDAH BOLEH INCREASE TAX REVENUE.
TAKKAN YOU ALREADY COLLECT GST THEN ON TOP OF THAT YOU STILL COLLECT INCOME TAX, CORPORATE TAX, SST, RPGT TAX ?? DRACULA HISAP DARAH KAH?

5. Listen to suicide signals.

Underlying falsafah : If the girl is standing on the Penang Bridge, it means it is a high possibility of a suicide jump into the sea.

(Similarly) if the GDP growth decreases AFTER any imposition of  GST then that is also a suicide sign.

SO PASS A LAW IN PARLIAMENT NOW, NOW, NOW THAT if after you impose GST the GDP growth decreases, then IMMEDIATELY CUT THE GST BY 50% - UNTIL THE GDP GROWTH IS RESTORED.  So from 2% GST, it becomes 1%.

There must be a careful monitoring of suicide signals. The last round the GST totally killed the economy. And nothing was done by the BN fools until they got kicked out. Serves you right - anak-anak haramjadah.

Friends, readers may I suggest something OUTSYED THE BOX.

We have hardly changed the tax system from what the white man gave us a hundred years ago.

Lets totally revamp our tax regime. We have our own minds. We have OutSyed The Box thinking.

Forget about the GST. We do not need it.
(I have a hundred other reasons - it has to do with race, race, race. For example 'Buy Bukan Muslim Last' and stupid things like that. It is all connected.)

Just impose income taxes on everyone earning RM2,000 and above per month.
No exceptions. Everyone who earns more than RM2000 must pay taxes.
This must include Banglas, Nepalis, Indons etc. (In the 1980s I paid taxes when I was doing student jobs in the USA.)
However impose one standard tax rate for everyone - income tax and corporate tax.
The magic tax rate shall be 15% - individuals and for corporations.
So that there is no difference between individual income tax and corporate tax.
This will certainly widen the tax base and also increase tax collection.

The quid pro quo for the lower tax rate is that the people agree that there must be higher penalties for those who evade taxes. Whereby it is not worth going to jail for 10 years just to avoid paying a "measly" 15% in taxes.

In other words the 'peace of mind' obtained from paying 15% taxes will far outweigh the penalties to be incurred from not paying the 15% taxes.

6. People first

Exempt all citizens below the age of 25 and above the age of 65 from paying taxes. The below 25 have not started anything yet. Give them a break ok.

The above 65 have already given their pound of flesh to Shylock bin Abdullah.

Just say thank you to them and leave them alone.

Wa akhirul dakwaanan :

Pakatan Harapan sudah jadi Putus Harapan.
Their next stop  .  .  .  .
