BMW UK is closing shop at its UK production plant and moving production of electric cars to China.
There are rich people involved here of course. The so called energy crisis is a contrived situation - an artificial condition caused by ridiculously argued sanctions against Russia, the number one supplier of energy to Europe.
The shareholders of BMW will make money from moving to a relatively cheaper country ie China. The bankers / financiers will make money from financing the moving and setting up of production in China.
The shareholders and bankers who do not have to move from Frankfurt, London or New York will still make money from this move.
