KUALA LUMPUR: Penang Hospital was illuminated in green as a tribute to a 36-year-old organ donor after the mother of five died in a road accident.
The Penang Health Department said the woman's wish to become an organ donor was respected by her family, adding that her death and donation on Aug 13 brought hope to others.
"May the resilience and generosity of the donor's family inspire all Malaysians, regardless of race and religion.
"You too can be a hero who brings new light to those waiting in hope. Registration for an organ donation pledge can now be easily made through the MySejahtera application," it said. - NST
