PKR division election candidates list to be announced on Monday

PETALING JAYA: 

The final list of candidates contesting division-level leadership positions at PKR’s upcoming elections will be announced on Monday, three days later than planned.

In a statement, PKR’s election committee said it is still resolving all complaints and issues related to the nomination list.

Previously, the committee’s chairman, Dr Zaliha Mustafa, said candidates wishing to withdraw or cancel their nominations were given until March 20 to ensure the election process runs smoothly.

The election of committee members, and women and youth wing leaders at the division level will be held from April 11 to 20. Nominations took place from March 14 to 16.

The election of the central leadership committee, and women and youth wing leaders at the national level will be held on May 24. Nominations will take place on May 3 and 4. - FMT
