
KINABATANGAN: Barisan Nasional's Kinabatangan candidate Mohd Kurniawan Naim Moktar completed his voting at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bilit here earlier today.
Naim, who is from Kampung Bilit, arrived at the polling centre at 8.50am accompanied by several supporters and greeted voters.
After voting, he visited the home of his late father, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, next to the SK Bilit polling centre.

"I used to come here often when I was young, accompanying my father and watching the boat races during the River Festival," he said.
Naim is in a three-cornered contest against Warisan's Datuk Saddi Abdul Rahman and independent candidate Goldam Hamid for the Kinabatangan seat formerly held by his father
Bung Moktar, who was also the Lamag assemblyman, died on Dec 5. - NST
