Bus driver goes “titanic,” letting lover sit and drive on his lap

MILLENIALS and Gen X movie lovers will find it hard to erase from their memory the scene from Titanic, where Leonardo DiCaprio hugged Kate Winslet while a sea breeze tousled their hair.

Sadly, such dreamy scenes and sexy fantasies are confined only in western movies.

On the other hand, we in Malaysia suffer with Cicak Man or some other sad, low-budget movie that looks more like a university assignment.

But sometimes, a unique Malaysian will pop out to prove you wrong. Take it from a steamy video post which is making rounds on the internet lately.

In the video, a bus driver could be seen supervising a lady, no doubt his romantic partner, on how to drive the vehicle.

That would be fine if not for the fact that the lady was sitting on his lap while doing it, which even a ten-year-old could point out that it is against the law.

Even more interesting was that the bus was full of passengers. They weren’t going on a joy ride together and risking only their lives, but the lives of many, many others.

“Make a report straight away and sack this driver for endangering the lives of many. If you want to make a Titanic drama, bring the bus yourself, on your own road. Do not involve others if you are bored of this world,” said netizen @amsukasukisuku in the comment section.

Then there was @beb0808 asking the right question. “Can this be charged under the motive to kill?” he wondered.

“Why is it that weird things must be in Johor?” said @frankrxII.

Even more interesting is the fact that this video surfaced just sometime after the freak accident that killed a father of three kids in Klang.

It appears some Malaysians have very short memory. This is not to forget the ample accidents involving buses and heavy vehicles which the Ministry Of Transport has yet to solve.

One can only wonder how the bus driver came up with this great idea of having his girl drive while sitting on his lap.

We can conclude that a man who doesn’t think twice about endangering the lives of his passengers should never be behind the wheels of a heavy vehicle. — Focus Malaysia
