7 Nepalis injured after tour bus overturns in Genting Highlands

PETALING JAYA:

Seven Nepali nationals were injured after their tour bus overturned following an accident involving another tour bus and a Perodua Aruz on the Genting Highlands road this evening.

Pahang fire and rescue department assistant director Salahuddin Isa said an emergency call was received at about 5.30pm, Bernama reported.

“A tour bus carrying 36 passengers, all of whom were Nepali nationals, overturned and seven of them sustained injuries. Passengers on the other tour bus, comprising Bangladeshi and Nepali nationals, were unharmed,” he was quoted as saying.

Salahuddin said the driver of the Perodua Aruz and its two passengers were also unhurt. - FMT
