The foundation's impact study found that 93.8% of graduates secured employment, with alumni now working in fields ranging from pharmacy to cardiology in Malaysia and abroad.

The foundation said its Peneraju Tunas Geliga, which supports secondary school students through boarding school placements and leadership camps, and Peneraju Tunas Potensi, which supports higher education locally and abroad, have since concluded.
It said of 1,415 students enrolled under Tunas Geliga, 1,286 completed their studies, while 1,538 of 1,638 Tunas Potensi scholars graduated.
According to Yayasan Peneraju, a 2025 impact study found that 93.8% of surveyed Tunas Potensi graduates secured employment, while 23.4% pursued postgraduate studies. Among Tunas Geliga alumni, 82% went on to diploma or degree programmes.
Success stories include Johanes Dedi Kanchau from Sarawak, who overcame financial constraints to attend a programme interview in Kuching before progressing to a PhD in Medicine (Cardiology) at Universiti Teknologi Mara.
Another graduate, Nazrul Adrian Abdullah from Terengganu, completed a Master of Pharmacy at University College London and is now a lead pharmacist in London.
Enggelia Machop from Kapit, Sarawak, credited the programme with helping her gain the confidence to pursue higher education. She graduated with First-Class Honours in Education from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.
Yayasan Peneraju CEO Ibrahim Sani said in a statement that the organisation has benefited more than 93,000 individuals through its talent development initiatives.
He said the organisation remains focused on strengthening Bumiputera participation in high-value fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, and professional accounting.
“Moving forward, YP will continue to strengthen Bumiputera participation in high-value professional and technology fields in line with Ekonomi Madani, PuTERA35, and RMK13,” he said, adding that the goal is to develop 10,000 value creators and reach 100,000 talents by 2030. - FMT
