Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin says the student is receiving treatment at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.

Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin said the they were informed via the MERS 999 hotline at 2.49pm, Bernama reported.
The victim was taken to Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for treatment.
“An investigation is under way to determine the exact cause of the incident. At present, the police are still gathering statements from witnesses and examining all related aspects.
“As such, the public is advised not to speculate or spread unverified information regarding this incident,” Alwi said in a statement tonight.
He also urged the public to respect the privacy of the victim and his family.
Alwi said police will conduct a transparent and thorough investigation.
On Friday, a 16-year-old girl died after falling from a school building in Seremban.
