The prime minister sought an audience with the Johor regent in Kuala Lumpur.

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he and Johor regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim have agreed to preserve their good relations while reinforcing cooperation between the federal and state governments.
In a statement, Anwar said he had a “friendly and harmonious” meeting with Tunku Ismail, also known as TMJ, in Kuala Lumpur today.
Anwar said discussions revolved around the welfare of Johoreans and the state’s development.
“We also discussed current issues and the federal government’s plans to spur economic growth and development.” - FMT
