PETALING JAYA: Activist and academic Dr Kassim Ahmad passed away on Tuesday.
He had fallen into a coma at around 4am Monday after complaining about difficulty breathing.
Kassim, 84, was admitted to the Kulim Hospital in September due to a lung infection and blocked heart valve.
