This military action in Marawi is very interesting. It has now been two months since the Maute group and the ISIS ran amok in Marawi.
At first glance it would seem that the Philippine Army is not capable of launching even a simple ground attack to defeat about 200 - 400 half starved jihadis.
But I think this is being done on purpose. Since the seizure of Marawi two months ago, many ISIS terrorists have been making a bee line for Marawi to fight the Philippine Army. And they are all gathered in one place. It is easier for the Philippine Army to smash them.
This is exactly what has happened here. Mahmud Ahmad and his wife were killed along with FIFTY OTHER ISIS terrorists in this particular airtsrike. This is a major success not just for the air strike but for the intelligence gathering capability of the Philippine ground troops.
On October 16th 2017 the Philippine Army killed two more terror leaders Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute also in Marawi.
They are drawing all the flies to Marawi City and then blowing them up into bits and pieces.
In the picture above, Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute lie shot to pieces in Marawi City. Now Ahmad Mahmud has also been blown to pieces in Marawi. The ISIS and Maute dunggus cannot see that Marawi City is actually a trap for them. Marawi has become a shooting gallery to wipe out the ISIS and the Maute group.
