The weekly petrol prices will go up by three sen, effective midnight.
RON95 and RON97 petrol will be priced at RM2.19 and RM2.49 per litre respectively, according to an announcement by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry.
It will be the first increase, following two consecutive weeks of decline.
Meanwhile, the retail price of diesel will see an increase of five sen, bringing the new price to RM2.17 per litre.
The price of diesel has seen two consecutive weeks of increase.
The weekly fuel price system was implemented on March 30.
It is determined by global oil prices based on the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) and the ringgit's strength against the US dollar.
