IPOH: Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today confirmed that the coalition would work with the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) in the 15th General Election (GE15).
"The seat distribution among PH is already completed but we are negotiating with other electoral pacts such as Muda, PSM (Parti Socialis Malaysia) and others.
"But seat allocations for all parties under the PH umbrella especially in Peninsular Malaysia, DAP, Amanah and PKR, have been completed," he said.
Anwar, who is also PKR president, said this in a press conference after opening the PH Convention at Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC) here, today.
Asked whether the other parties would also be using the PH logo in GE15, he said it was up to them.
However, he said PH had offered them the use of the coalition logo.
As it stands then, Anwar said the announcement on the seat distributions could not be revealed at the event tonight.
Earlier, PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in his speech at the convention, said seat negotiations with the other parties would be concluded soon. - NST
