The man was sented to 14 years and six months' jail and 12 strokes of the cane by the Singapore high court.

Jasper Lee Loong Kuan, 37, was sentenced to 14½ years’ jail and 12 strokes of the cane on Friday, the Straits Times reported. He had been found guilty by the High Court in Singapore on Feb 10 after a trial.
The High Court judge rejected Lee’s claim of consensual sex, and held that the woman was in a state of near-unconsciousness at the time and clearly lacked the capacity to consent to sex.
The court was told that Lee, managing director of his own company, was a client of the firm where the victim was a customer service officer. Finding that they shared the same birthday, they agreed to celebrate with dinner at a mall on Sept 15, 2021. It was the first time they had met in person.
After finishing two bottles of red wine, the woman told Lee that she wanted to go home as she was feeling quite drunk, and dashcam audio showed that the woman had vomited and was slurring while Lee drove her home and helped her to her home.
