Malaysia Airlines flight services to London, Paris operate as scheduled

 

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines confirms that all services to and from London and Paris continue to operate as scheduled.

In a posting on its official social media platform, the national carrier said Malaysia Airlines flights are utilising alternative routes to avoid affected regions and ensure the highest safety standards.

"While this may result in slightly longer flight times, the safety of our passengers and crew remains our absolute priority,” the airline said. 

Malaysia Airlines also said that it continues to monitor the situation closely to ensure safe and reliable operations for all passengers.

"We understand the challenges currently facing travellers in the region. Our teams are standing by to assist those with urgent travel needs or passengers impacted by broader regional disruptions,” it said.

Passengers are encouraged to update their contact details via "My Booking” on Malaysia Airlines' website to receive timely updates.

Besides that, passengers were advised to contact through live chat available on the website at https://malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/askmh or call 1 300 88 3000 within Malaysia and +603 7843 3000 outside Malaysia. 

The announcement came after the US-Iran conflict had significantly disrupted airport operations globally, with thousands of Middle Eastern flights being cancelled, and airspace in the region had been closed after the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on Saturday.

Following the conflict, Malaysia Airlines has extended its suspension of all flights to and from Doha (DOH), Jeddah (JED), and Madinah (MED) until March 4, 2026, following the cancellations implemented from Feb 28 to March 1, 2026. - Bernama
