The Malaysian Highway Authority says most festive revellers have already reached their hometowns ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

PETALING JAYA: Traffic flow on all major highways nationwide remained smooth and under control as of this evening, a spokesman for the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said.
He attributed this to most travellers having already returned to their hometowns ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, Bernama reported.
He said monitoring through closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras indicated steady vehicle movement on northbound, southbound and east coast-bound routes.
The spokesman said there was slight congestion in a small section near the Seremban rest and service area heading towards Bandar Ainsdale.
The spokesman added that the remaining motorists on the road were likely those opting for last-minute travel ahead of tomorrow’s Aidilfitri celebrations. - FMT
