Police say the attacker became angry after the victim honked at him for blocking the motorcycle lane.

Shah Alam police chief Sarudin Samah said the 45-year-old victim, who was riding his motorcycle to work, had honked at the suspect for blocking the lane with his motorcycle during the 7am incident.
“The 43-year-old suspect then stopped his motorcycle and slashed the victim with a cleaver,” Bernama reported Sarudin as saying.
Sarudin said the victim was taken to Shah Alam Hospital for treatment and was in stable condition.
The suspect has been arrested to assist in investigations under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means.
He urged anyone with information to lodge a report at the nearest police station or contact investigating officer Amirul Zulkifli at 012-5583436.
In a video of the incident that has since gone viral, the victim can be seen lying on the road as the suspect brandishes a cleaver over him. - FMT
