N Sembilan Harapan urges MB to have audience with ruler; Nga 'adopts' 11 Teluk Intan B40 pupils

• Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan urged Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim to seek an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir for a solution to ongoing issues plaguing the state.
  
  In a statement today, the coalition stressed that the current crisis should not be viewed as a matter of “who wins or loses in a political rivalry.”
  
  The state Harapan chapter added that restoring tranquillity to the state administration and ensuring that the rakyat do not continue to bear the consequences of a prolonged dispute should be prioritised.

Government assistance

• Teluk Intan MP and Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming has adopted 11 students from B40 families in his parliamentary constituency.
  
  The children were selected to join the Foster Children Programme that encompasses character building and motivation, aimed at helping students identify their potential and pursue higher education.

  

  According to Berita Harian, Nga (above) said various parties, including his ministry and the Hilir Perak District Education Office, carried out the screening and selection process. - Mkini
