Rep denies being part of six who visited Selangor sultan

PKR's Batu 3 assemblyperson Rodziah Ismail has denied speculation that she was in the delegation of six assemblypersons who visited the Selangor palace this afternoon to withdraw support from Menteri Besar Azmin Ali.
"Wrong person. I am still with PKR and Pakatan Harapan," Roziah said on Twitter.
The speculation arose from a message, circulating on WhatsApp, claiming two independent assemblypersons and four PKR assemblypersons are part of the delegation who were at the Selangor palace at 2pm today.
"The Azmin Ali regime has been toppled. If the Selangor legislative assembly is not dissolved then a new coalition government consisting of PAS, Independent and BN representatives will be formed," the message claimed.
PKR's Sementa assemblyperson Daroyah Ali, who was named in the message, earlier denied she is defecting from the Harapan coalition.
The other two PKR reps are Dr Idris Ahmad (Ijok) and Yaakob Sapari (Kota Anggerik). Malaysiakini has contacted both for comment.
Earlier today, Selangor state executive councilor Elizabeth Wong has dismissed rumours on possible snap polls in Selangor.
"There is no possibility for early elections, not that we know of," she told reporters at the party's headquarters in Petaling Jaya today.
The Bukit Lanjan state assemblyperson was responding to claims that early polls will be held in the state following the PAS muktamar's decision to sever ties with PKR.
"We are waiting for the syura council (to decide), that is their process," added Wong.
Asked whether she felt threatened by the possibility of a snap election in the state, Wong however claimed that "Selangor is the steadiest of all states".
PKR was also prepared for all scenarios, said Wong, in response to the party's preparedness to PAS syura council's decision on ties between the two parties.
"The most important thing is that we always keep our doors open for an electoral pact (and) this is for all parties. Our objective is to only topple Barisan Nasional.
"We don't have to be stressed. I don't know why people are more stressed out than us.
"This has nothing to do with state elections. I think we should be concerned on when the general election is," she added.
'Claims came from cyber trooper blog'
Meanwhile, Wong also refuted claims of PKR state assemblypersons leaving the party, citing the purported source of the claims which she said came from a "cyber trooper blog".
"It's from a blog called Malaysia Propaganda News. From the name of the blog you know it is a new cyber trooper.
"I hope the media doesn't report based on blogs whose authenticity is in question because it's rubbish.

"There's no truth to the fact that four state assemblypersons from PKR are leaving," she stressed.
The blog's claims matches the message circulating on WhatsApp.
Pakatan Harapan currently has 30 state assemblypersons in Selangor, with 15 from the DAP, 13 from PKR and two from Parti Amanah Negara. PAS, on the other hand, has 13 state representatives while Umno has 12.
Together with one independent assemblyerson (former Selangor menteri besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim), a coalition between PAS and Umno needs five assemblypersons to come on board to form a new government.- Mkini
