Jeffrey Kitingan believes Musa will return to take oath as assemblyperson

Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) president Jeffrey Kitingan believes that former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman will return to Sabah to take his oath as a state assemblyman.
He said the Sabah BN chairperson still has time to be sworn in as Sungai Sibuga assemblyperson because it could be performed within a period of 120 days from the date of polling (May 9), which ends next month.
“Rumours saying that Tan Sri (Musa) will lose the seat of Sungai Sibuga (if he does not return to be sworn in as an assemblyman) is just a speculation.
“An elected representative will only lose his (state) seat if he does not take his oath within 120 days from the date of polling or fails to attend three state legislative assembly sittings without reasons,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the state legislative assembly sitting in Kota Kinabalu today.
Musa has not been in Sabah since May 14 and is in the United Kingdom for medical treatment.
Jeffrey added he was elected by members of the Bersatu Sabah pact, including representatives from BN to play the role of opposition head while Musa was still abroad during the current sitting.
