Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak arrived at the Dewan Rakyat today for the first parliamentary session since the landmark 14th general election (GE14).
The sitting is the first in the nation’s history where BN will occupy the opposition bench after its humiliating defeat in the May 9 election.
Dressed in black, he smiled, waved and greeted “good morning” at the crowd comprising the media and parliament staff as he headed into the hall.
His former right-hand man and newly-minted Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived shortly after, followed by former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin, both also dressed in black.
