Mahathir and Daim want to make a deal with Jho Low. If he turns ‘state witness’ and helps nail Najib Tun Razak, then Jho Low will be given immunity from prosecution and may even be able to keep most of the money he stole.
Mahathir and Daim are negotiating a deal with Jho Low for him to turn ‘state witness’ and ‘testify’ against Najib
Clare Rewcastle Brown of Sarawak Report was not supposed to run the story that Jho Low had been detained or arrested in China pending Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s trip to that country next month. And this is why a very upset Mahathir said Sarawak Report’s story that Jho Low had been arrested in China is fake news.
Tun Daim Zainuddin was supposed to have a secret meeting with Jho Low and since he was going to China they agreed to meet up there. Maybe Clare was not too happy that Daim and Jho Low were meeting and that is why she sabotaged the whole thing by coming out with that fake news of Jho Low being arrested in China.
Clare went and let the cat out of the bag about Jho Low being in China
Mahathir and Daim want to make a deal with Jho Low. If he turns ‘state witness’ and helps nail Najib Tun Razak, then Jho Low will be given immunity from prosecution and may even be able to keep most of the money he stole. Maybe he would have to return only a small portion of what he stole to give an impression that the deal benefits the Malaysian taxpayers.
Clare is already upset that Sarawak’s Taib Mahmud is off the hook. If Jho Low also gets off the hook then all the stories Sarawak Report has been spinning these last many years would appear to be false. If what Sarawak Reportsaid is true then why are Taib Mahmud and Jho Low not in jail?
Jho Low will be given immunity from prosecution if he helps the government nail Najib
The problem is the government has nothing on Najib other than the so-called charges involving RM42 million of SRC International’s money, which they are yet to prove. For four years they have been alleging that Najib stole RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money but in the end all they can charge him for is RM42 million and not RM42 billion. However, if they can get Jho Low to testify against Najib then they will have more to frame Najib for. But then Jho Low will have to be let off the hook.
