Russia Has Super Advanced Anti Drone Weapons Systems.

On January 6th this year Russia easily repulsed a swarm attack by armed drones at its naval base in Tartus and the Hmeymim Air base, both in Syria.

On June 30th there was another drone attack against the Hmeymim Air Base which was again neutralised by Russian forces in Syria. Here is the news:

My comments : The Israelis have only recently tested the Skylock anti-drone system which is a software that can intercept and hijack drones or destroy them via weapons fire. 

The Russians however already have an operational and active anti drone capability on the ground in Syria that has now been battle proven at least THREE times.  This is a major development and has great significance for drone warfare.

Countries (like Malaysia) which may not have big budgets to operate drones can defend themselves by investing in anti drone systems, which are largely software driven. AI will become more and more important. Bang Mat kena tahu pasal drone swarm. Bukan Milo suam Bang.
