A group of former premier Najib Abdul Razak's supporters, led by Umno leader Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, locks horns with the police at the Jalan Duta court complex in Kuala Lumpur.
This is after a police officer reprimanded Tun Faisal as the latter attempted to rally the crowd to sing
'Allah Selamatkan Kamu' (May Allah Save You)' in anticipation of the former premier's arrival.
"This is not a karaoke joint, this is a court,” Sentul deputy district chief Supt Mohamed Rafiq Mohamed Mustafa told the Umno leader.
Tun Faisal argued that there was no restriction against speaking or singing outside of the court lobby, but the police insisted that the crowd shifts to outside of the main gate.
"Where is the arresting team? (You all are) acting like a bunch of children," Mohd Rafiq replied.
This prompted one of those in the crowd to shout back, “Jangan provoke (do not provoke us).”
Najib has claimed trial to the four charges – three counts of criminal breach of trust and one on abuse of power - related to the SRC International issue.
The former premier, who maintains that he is innocent, told reporters that his upcoming trial would provide him with an opportunity to clear his name.
