Two more patients have fully recovered from Covid-19 in Malaysia and were discharged today, said Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad.
This brings the total number of patients who have fully recovered to 15 out of 22 Covid-19 cases in the country.
The latest patient to see a recovery is a 65-year-old Malaysian woman (Case 17) who is the mother-in-law of the first Malaysian, a 41-year-old man (Case 9), who tested positive for the coronavirus. The patient from case 9 had recovered on Feb 17.
The second patient who recovered is a 32-year-old Malaysian man (Case 18) who worked in Macao, said Dzulkefly at the ministry's daily press conference today for updates on the outbreak.
As of today, the 22 Covid-19 cases in the country have remained unchanged for four days.
Dzulkefly said Malaysia would continue to be vigilant as neighbouring Singapore's alert level was still at its second-highest level, orange.
